Verdi Spumante is so crisp, light, fruity, and refreshing. This sparkling wine leaves such a wonderful taste in your mouth. The 750ml cleverly shaped bottle has only 5% alcohol. It tastes exquisite with strawberries or with a splash of cranberry juice. Verdi Spumante tastes classy enough to drink with a toast or casual enough to eat with Chinese take out.
I love drinking wine and champagne. What better way to enjoy a delicious meal or a special evening with your significant other? I especially enjoy lighter wines such as White Merlot, Zinfandel or Arbor Mist types that are fruity in flavor. My newest favorite however seems to be champagne. While most people do not like the taste of champagne I find it to be delightful. However, I have noticed while trying several kinds that my favorite is the more sweet flavored ones - asti spumante.
Unlike many other sparkling wines, Verdi Spumante does not leave me with a dreadful headache after drinking it. Mainly because the alcohol content is so low, I believe. The bottle has a traditional champagne top that does pop when opened. The one very good thing about this sparkling wine however is that once you open the bottle, you can reapply the cap tightly and refrigerate to enjoy a while later. The same pop (though lessened a bit) will sound as you reopen to enjoy once again. I have even drank the Verdi Spumante the following day and to my surprise it still tasted wonderful!
You can purchase Verdi Spumante at any liquor store as well as online. The next best thing is the price of this lovely sparkling wine - $4.99!! They also have a few other flavors such as peach and raspberry.
This delicious sparkling wine is everything the name of the brand means Verdi=versatile, enchanting, revolutionary, daring, Italian.
FYI - This would make a perfect sparkling wine to serve at weddings and other social gatherings. It is inexpensive and your guests will simply love the taste!
