Over-priced plastic box

I noticed on many review sites the same exact positive review(s)on this product, which leads me to think that it is from a company rep.

I bought one from Bed Bath & Beyond to try it out. I ended up returning it within the week.
This product is advertised as being "extremely quiet", yet it's louder than my refrigerator, which makes it unacceptable to have in a bedroom. It's also advertised as needing no filters, yet when you add up the cost of the additional chemicals you need, it ends up costing more than buying filters.
