The Bottom Line: Don't overlook this because of the price, and if you can find a coupon, it saved me $40!

Humidifies well, simple design, great warranty but poor construction & inconsistent replacement parts

The Bottom Line: Will humidify and clean air well, 10-year warranty good customer service. Plastic parts may break easily. Somewhat noisy for a bedroom, must use Venta Additive every 10-14 days.
Review: After reading the reviews and seeing several advertisements, I decided to purchase the Venta LW14 for my bedroom. Venta products are German made and considering the 200.00 price tag, you might say they are the Mercedes of Humidifier/Air cleaners...

The Bottom Line: Probably works a tad better than a bucket of water. It does remove some stuff from the air. If $200 is important to you do not buy this.

If you have $200 to blow, and like the design, you buy a Venta.

Works ok but poor construction + expensive

The Bottom Line: Because of the cheap construction, high price and lack of features I can't recommend this. There are probably other cold water humidifiers that are a better deal.
Review: Like the other reviewers here I agree the Venta is very easy to clean, which is a plus. It does also seem much better at controlling the amount of humidity, which I guess makes sense since it does not heat up the water but just uses normal...

Simple and Effective

The Bottom Line: It's expensive and requires periodic maintenance, but it works.

Easiest to clean humidifier ever
