Sturdy aluminum case, easy to assemble, but false advertising: no SATA II transfer speeds

The Bottom Line: If you are satisfied with 1.5 GB/s SATA I speeds, and forgive Vantec's false advertising, its benefits outweigh its shortcomings. With a good HD inside you'll likely be happy.
Review: The good:

1) This is mostly a very sturdy little case. All the blue areas are aluminum. It feels durable and solid in your hand. The hard drive does not shake inside the enclosure.

2) It wastes no space -- it is smaller than I...

So far, my favorite SATA external enclosure

The Bottom Line: I recommend this enclosure. It is a non-expensive high-performing enclosure.
Review: Ok, I have to first admit that I haven't tried using the eSata connection, as I am mostly using a laptop right now, so, my review will exclude that part.

Installation of this drive is pretty easy, as I have dealt with similar enclosures...
