Crisp DVD playback, good IPOD interface.

I had this product installed on my Toyota Tacoma 2004 CrewCab for about a week, I mainly bought this product for the IPOD interface, I barely listen to FM stations and if i listen to radio it's mostly AM.

I received the radio from Crutchfield along with all the harness , cables and DIN filler. I went from factory double din to single din.

The installation was very easy and all the cable colors both matched the factory cables and the new harness, the fit was perfect and i did not need to make any modifications. My main concern on this product was the IPOD interface as all my listening comes from the IPOD, Once I understood how to navigate I had the IPOD interface up and running, it recognized my G5 Video IPOD with no problem along with 1500 tracks, the navigation is very similar in function to the IPOD internal, where I can sort by playlist, album, artist, etc. The unit also allows me to shuffle between all the tracks or listen to just a particular artist or album. There is a find option, but it does not let you sort by song, artist or folder (NAME) but instead it used the track NUMBER. So you can find track number 1033 and hit play, if you know the song track number then this will work for you, but I need names in order to find songs, so that is kind of odd.

Once your up and running there is an option to configure your EQ to your liking. This unit has great sound, my plan was to change the headunit first followed by the speakers, after hearing he unit for the past week, I will scrap buying new speakers, i am keeping the factory speakers in place.

The DVD playback is crisp and the surround sound is awesome,
AM/FM Radio sounds like radio, just like it should, programing stations is real simple.

I can't speak for the XM radio option, just because I don't have a satellite account. Same goes for the reverse camera and additional monitors.

Overall at this moment, I am very satisfied with the unit and would recommend it.
