Date of Review:  Oct 19, 2000
Review: Introduction

After receiving traffic citation #22 of my storied career by a slow cop with a radar gun, I realized I needed help. Speeders Anonymous? Hell No!

As mentioned in an earlier opinion on choosing radar detectors which you...

The Best Radar Detector

Review: I have recently found the need to purchase one of these units because of a recent speeding ticket I received. I was only going about 10 miles an hour over the speed limit; however, I realized that I can not afford the increasing ticket prices and...

V1 is the Best: Forget the Rest

Date of Review:  Jul 6, 2000
Review: Although I am quite familiar with highway expedience, I never felt the need to have a radar detector in my car. But one fateful day, as it usually goes, I got nabbed by a well-hidden Smoky looking for a quota-satisfying hit. Suddenly, I found myself...

The Valentine One Radar Detector is unmatched, and pays for itself over and over again.

Date of Review:  Jul 31, 2004
The Bottom Line: If you have the cash to spend, this is undoubtedly the one to get!
Review: The one thing that scares many people away from the Valentine 1 Radar Laser Detector is the hefty $400 price tag. And although $400 is a lot of money for a radar detector unit, the V1 is well worth it. In my experience with the Valentine 1 (2...

One Product Where Looks Don't Count

Date of Review:  Jul 14, 2000
Review: I subscribe to a few auto magazines. Over the past couple of years, I recall seeing the face of this goofy middle-aged guy with wire-rimmed glasses on some ad. Finding his face objectionable for some reason (actually he closely resembles someone I...

V1 or Escort 8500

Date of Review:  Mar 5, 2002
The Bottom Line: If you want the best reception and don't mind a few falses and can live without automute go for it.
Review: Camero vs. Mustang F150 vs Dodge Ram Automatic vs. Manual
Diesel or Gas. Tough choices. Each has their advantages and disadvantages. Ford owners wouldn't be caught dead with a Chevy and vice versa. And so it is with V1 and Escort 8500. Just...

Valentine One: A breakthrough in radar protection

Date of Review:  Jul 4, 2000

Still the Benchmark Maker...

Date of Review:  Nov 8, 2002
The Bottom Line: Well worth the money...if owned you would never understand why you bought anything else.
Review: The Valentine One was first brought out in early 90s. The unit featured X, K and Wideband Ka. For its time and still, it was King of X and K band pickup. Ka Wideband, thought featured, was in middle of the pack of detectors.

Now this...

Valentine One: If God Had A Radar Detector, It'd Be The V1!

Date of Review:  Feb 1, 2003
The Bottom Line: The Valentine Radar detector is the greatest machine against the war against cops, it's the detector that God would be using if he had a choice.
Review: The Valentine One is unlike any radar detector that I've ever seen. I love my Valentine One, I love it like I love my family, like I love my car, and like I love my life. Where would I ever be without a Valentine One? If I were God, the radar...
