You Get What You Pay For

Sure, the IJam MP3 comes at an affordable price. I got mine for $79.00 with a $20.00 rebate.
But, there is a catch. First, I had to reinstall the software a couple of times, kept getting Transmission errors. Finally, I got that solved. Then, the 16 MB internal memory, only holds about 10-12 songs at the lowest baud setting you can use. This makes for TERRIBLE quality. However, if you use a higher setting, you will only be able to get about 2-3 songs on the card.
So, I do my thing and download the songs. Ready right?
Wrong! The volume, cranked to a max of 100, is not even audible over my breathing! Man. I was going to use this as a work-out MP3 during my weight-lifting. There is no way that I'd be able to hear anything with this sort of quality.
And to top it all off...2 AA batteries will only last an hour!
