The Bottom Line: Absolutely excellent sound from an affordable pair of earbuds that are well built and very well backed by customer service at V-Moda.

Pros: Cool styling. Solid clean bass. Compact size.

Cons: Less than impressive sound imaging. Painful fit.

The Bottom Line: Depends. I prefer comfortable headphones, with well rounded sound at all ranges, and imaging that makes you forget you're wearing headphones. These miss mark for me.

Review: I demo'ed the Shure EC2 headphones at the Apple store, and loved them... but was not crazy about the styling or the size. I haven't seen nearly as much written about the V-Moda headphones, as they are so new. They don't demo their product... but...

Pros: Excellent sound quality, stay in place, and are light as a feather.

Cons: Nothing to mention, the leather case is not much to speak about.

Pros: Great looking, great bass sound, wires less likely to tangle

Cons: Stethoscope effect, durabilty question (read other reviews here and on Amazon), awkward fit

The Bottom Line: Look for cheaper earbuds with equally good sound quality without the wire stethoscope effect. For good bass, look for a low frequency under 20 Hz. (V-Moda Vibes had 12 Hz.)
