Lot's of bass, not much else

Date of Review: Jan 14, 2007

IGNORE C-NET'S POSITIVE REVIEWS!!! These headphones suck.

These headphones are generally not worth it. They do have lots of distortion free bass, but that's about it.

If bass is **ALL** you're looking for then maybe these are for you.

There's hardly any treble or clarity whatsoever. It's as if someone turned the treble all the way down on a boombox or something.

Just as bad is that fact that no matter what size rubber insert you use (it comes with 3, they are necessary or you'll have NO bass) these headphones create a very uncomfortable suction on one, or both, of your ears. Sometimes it creates so much suction that the drivers in the earbuds can't work anymore because their is to much of it (the driver can't moved forward or backwards much so it can't create much sound!!!).

GO WITH THE SENNHEISER CX-300, if you want good bass AND great all around sound in this price range.

After buying these I reggreted my purchase and wished I had just gone with my original decision to purchase the Sennheisers
