Highly recommended!
Pros:
Gives you peace of mind, high quality, & ease of use.
Cons:
Sometimes it makes a clicking noise & price (if you buy it retail)
The Bottom Line:
This monitor won't leave you wishing for much. It has newer technology which monitors breathing but it's easy to use & travel with. Well made product, worth the investment.

Author's Review
We bought this monitor about a year ago and have used it for just about every nap and every night.
The best feature on this monitor is the peace of mind knowing the alarm will sound if our son stops breathing.
The alarm has gone off twice, both times our son had wiggled to the very edge of the crib and the sensor did not pick up his breathing. Of course it always goes off when we pick up the baby and forget to turn it off (which isnt very often because you get used to turning it off right when you pick up the baby), so we know it's working.
I was very impressed with the feature which lets you adjust the sensitivity of the sensor. For instance if you have a ceiling fan and it makes the mobile sway, the sensor would pick up on that and the alarm would not sound if the baby stopped breathing. However, you can turn the sensitivity down and keep testing it until it no longer picks up any motion other than the baby.
I also like the fact that it has 3 settings: Sound only, Tic off, or Sound and Motion.
The "Sound only" setting disables the motion sensor and then it works like a normal monitor (we use this when we travel).
The "Sound and Motion" setting detects movement and sound but it has a tic sound that goes off every time it senses a movement.
If you dont want to hear the tic, you set it to "Tic off" and it still detects motion and sound but it doesnt make that ticking noise.
We have a larger size house and we've taken the receivers outside, all with little to no static (we haven't found the limit to the distance of this monitor yet)
Every once in a while it will make a clicking noise at night and this can be frustrating to the light sleepers out there.
The handsets take batteries, making them more mobile, and they light up when they detect sound so you dont have to listen to the noise.
We found ours on craigslist for $50 so if you like a bargain, you might try finding it on ebay or places other than babiesRus.
All in all, we will use this monitor for our future children and have bought two more for family members having babies. We are quite satisfied.
