Lousy performance and lousy ergonomics

We bought it with the idea that we could take emergency phone calls in the shower or keep a phone close by when swimming. But the phone just doesn't perform. Even two rooms away, it's filled with static and loses the signal. Repeated channel changes were no help. It is a poor substitute for the two year old Panasonic it replaced. It's heavy and uncomfortable in your hand. Rugged? the rubber antenna cover falls off easily, allowing water to enter the "submersible" phone. We're taking it back to Home Depot. It was a good idea very poorly executed.
