Uniden TRU9466 5.8 GHz 2-Line Cordless Phone

I purchased the 5.8 GHz 2-line Uniden TRU9466 cordless phone to replace a 2.4 GHz VTech 4-line cordless system. After connecting the VoIP and conventional analog (POTS) lines to the base unit, I could only get a dial tone for the VoIP line. If I connected only the POTS, I could hear a dial tone, but not with both lines connected to the base unit. Upon calling Uniden Customer Service and notifying them of the problem, they informed me that this Uniden 2-line model is not capable of handling both a digital signal from the VoIP line and an analog signal from the conventional POTS line. Do not order this phone if you have an internet phone line and conventional phone line.
