Uniden EXI5160 5.8 GHz 1-Line Cordless Phone

I bought this phone 2 weeks ago, it's my third Uniden phone and yet, the best one so far. Some people will complain about static, just make sure the phone base is not near a microwave or fluorescent light. It's a 5.8GHz, therefore, very sensible from certain type of electronics' and appliances. ALL WIRELESS 5.8GHZ ARE THE SAME. My brother has a Motorola and experiences some static's too. I told him to put is base in is bedroom, like I did, and never had a problem since. I've tried 4 different models and the Uniden is from far away the best one of the group. In Canada, some store let the customers try the phone on sight before buying it; I went a step further by asking the store manager if I could go outside and walk away with the four models in my hand, the Uniden is the only one that was still receiving half a mile away from the store! And the sound was still clear.
I personally recommend this model over any other one out there. The best cordless yet.
