Pen didn't work for me

I went to a local store because I needed a new pen I have thousands of pens but I am fond of gel pens. Daily I fill out a lot of papers and I like writing in my journal with all of that writing I do-- I need a good pen. My handwriting is large so I prefer using a pen that has a medium point versus a fine or bold point and one that writes with ease and do not skip or stop writing when the chamber is still full of ink. The Uni-Ball Jetstream Roller ball Pen claims to

I open the pack the Uni-Ball Jetstream Pen wrote very smooth first couple lines. I was pleased it was everything I liked in a pen until it started to skip I had to scribble on the margin to get it to write. After scribbling for awhile the pen started back writing but it continue to skip. I decided to try the other pen that came along in the pack and it did the same. I tried to get the ink pen to write properly because I really like the way the pen performed before it started to skip and not write. The pen description stated it is great for left-hander well I am a right-hander maybe that had something to do with the skipping go figure. The pen does have fast drying ink to prevent smears that part is very true. Compared to other gel pens I have this ink is the fastest. Overall if you can get the pen to stop skipping and write when you need it to it is an ok pen and you do not have to worry about losing the cap to the pen it is retractable as stated.
