Great Dice Game

Ah yes, the wonderful game of yahtzee, I remember playing this game as a child and I still play this game as an adult, one of the best dice games around.

Have you ever set out to play a game of yahtzee and haven't been able to find all the dice? Then you go searching through all of the other games in your house to find a couple of dice so you will have all five of them? My family has. I just love the game.

I love seeing how many yahtzee's I can get in one game. Ha Ha Ha, lucky if I get one. Which by the way , is when you roll all five dice and land on the same number.

You must remember to try to get a total of 63 points on the top half of your score though, so you can collect the extra 35 point bonus. That comes in handy when you use all your chances and have to start taking zero's or low scores for other rolls.

I think its a great strategy game. I like to play three or four games at one time. It makes it very interesting and also gives you a place to put all of your rotten rolls in.

The game is quit simple actually. You need to try to make set's of ones to sixes on the top half, and on the bottom half of the score sheet there are straights,a four of a kind, three of a kind, yahtzee, chance and a full house. The object is to see who can get the highest scores.

If your in for a real challenge try playing three games at one time and then double and triple your second and third game scores for a total. It gets very interesting that way.

Youngsters love this game also. Helps them to learn their numbers as well as adding. Great game for the whole family.
