Quake II, even after Quake III, is still very popular. So popular that is it very hard to find someone that doesn't enjoy this game. ID Software knows how to make games and even Quake I, the very first of its kind is still being played by hundreds of quakers.

If the classic shoot-em-up doesn't interest you, then there are also teamplay modifications that are simple to install and will have you playing in no time. For the people who like to tweak with things, you can make your own maps, models, and mods (modifications).

I would recommend to buy this game and support ID Software so they can release another hit such as this in the near future. If I were to choose any game of being my favorite, it would be something I enjoy calling Quake II.
