Splinter Cell Double Agent Shows Two Faces.

As an avid gamer and long time fan of the Splinter Cell video game series I was very anxiously awaiting the release of this title and rightfully so.After spending several hours with the games single and multi player aspects I can certainly say this is indeed a solid entry into the saga of Sam Fisher. Sam Fisher begins his adventure this time as a fugitive in order to get in with the bad guys and work the mission from the inside. The game prompts you with many heart pounding decisions like whether or not to shoot a police chief in order to carry out your mission or not. The game play for the single player is dead on perfect for my likings and is coupled with some of the most amazing graphics i have ever seen to boot. This game simply screams brilliance and when you add in the storyline you'll see why.

Sadly the same cannot be said for this games multi player. This part of the game felt like an extreme under hall and step backwards from the last Splinter Cell game. The spies now have no offensive weapons to defend them selfs with and the Mercenaries are extremely over powered considering they have grenade launchers to get a spy when he is hiding in the smallest of areas and cannot escape. The mechanics seem broken hear as well and you'll often find yourself running from an enemy and trying to escape but because of fidgety button combinations you wind up dead. This coupled with he fact that the missions consist of "Retrieve the Intel" and "Kill the spies" and you'll soon become rather board with the very few levels that the game does offer you.
