Author's Review
When many players think of a massively multiplayer online game, they think of World Of Warcraft, or Everquest Online, however, this game can be considered a great alternative for those gamers not looking for a typical MMOG.
Set in a realm of pirates and pillaging, the game caters to players looking for just a good time, deviating away from the, "serious players", only mood that surrounds so many online multiplayer games. Many of the puzzles in the game are social, where a gamer can join a crew and flag, attack islands held by other players, or just go out and attack their vessels. For a gamer looking for a more lone ranger type approach, there are many parlor games where one can wager any amount in a certain puzzle, including:
Swordfighting - Tetris like, much more fast paced, however.
Rumble - Like Bust-a-move, fast paced.
Drinking - Almost like a version of chess, with a bit of luck.
Treasure Drop - Logic puzzle where foresight comes into major play.
This game is a subscription based game, HOWEVER, it can be played for free, with no limitations, on one of the doubloon oceans, a.k.a. other servers, where players must pay a sort of tax in order to purchase items.
