Ice Maker is an absolute disaster
Pros:
Nice design concept suitable for use in a small home bar or outdoor kitchen.
Cons:
Ice maker doesn't maintain ice as cubes, drips water in bin. First/last U-Line product.
The Bottom Line:
Unless you want to use an ice pick every time you need ice, DON'T BUY THIS PRODUCT! It will only disappoint and continue to disappoint you. Avoid it!!

Author's Review
Conceptually, this is a wonderful design that combines two appliances into one with a relatively small footprint. The ice maker produces ice in sufficient quantity for a home bar, however all the ice is stuck together in one large chunk within 8-10 hours. The refrigerator has a tendency to occasionally freeze beverages to a point of bursting regardless of the temperature setting. Bottled beer or canned pop will often freeze and burst creating a huge mess to clean up. After several service calls and the technician attempting to adjust/fine tune the auto-defrost cycle, upper and lower temperature limit settings/switches, etc., the ice maker still has the problem. It appears the design is flawed!! All of the manufacturer's specifications regarding power supply, water supply, installation, cabinet clearance, non-obstructed ventilation requirements were fully met. The unit was installed in a custom opening in my home bar. From an engineering/product design standpoint, trying to maintain freezer temperature in the ice maker enclosure without freezing the contents in the refrigerator is impossible. The ice maker is housed in a plastic wall compartment with a thin plastic hinged door inside the refrigerator with no visible insulation. The all-stainless steel exterior and contour handle look sharp. The Lexan ice bin is very durable and it is a good thing since I frequently have to use an ice pick to break up the block of ice when the cubes form a solid block and water from the ice maker has dripped into the bin. Functionally, this product has been a huge disappointment with a $1,750+ price tag. Avoid the frustration, buy a small Scotsman Ice Maker and separate auto-defrost bar refrigerator. I wish I had the space in my bar for two separate units. The final cost would have been no greater and without all the frustration. Friends refer to the U-Line as my high-tech albatross.
