I absolutely love this magazine! It has everything a normal teen magazine has, but with a twist.( no pun intended)
Unlike its competitors, Twist offers makeup tips you'll actually use, clothes you'll actually wear, interviews you actually want to read, and embarassing moments that are actuallly embarassing! It carries all of it off with a fantastic sense of humor and style. They're hip, funny and in touch with the youth who read the magazines, which is above all the most important.
A feature I particulary like of the magazine at the back of the magazine. They pick a certain celebrity and ask them 7 to 10 different questions. The celebrity then has to complete the questionaire in their own handwritting. The questions are like "who would you love to eat dinner with?" and "what is the biggest rumor about you that isn't true?".
They have interviewed many celebrities in this way including Britney Spears(Who may I add spelled a few words wrong), Carson Daly, Backstreet Boys, and even the animated star of South Park, Cartman.
In closing, this magazine is made for teenage girls and is definitely a refuge where girls can find strength and support.
If you're looking for a similar magazine, Cosmo Girl is also good.
