The Best Car Combat Game

First off I have been a Twisted Metal fan since the original Twisted Metal and I have to say this is the best game in the Twisted Metal series. When Single Trac decided to leave to make the Vigilante 8 series I think that was for the best because the Twisted Metal series became better.

In TM4 the graphics are the best that I have seen in a car combat game. It has a smooth frame rate even in the multiplayer mode. The controls are tight and the cars turn well. The new added features such as the crane in the first level and spreading fire on the green sewage are awesome. 989 Studios also added extra levels for multiplayer and new bosses that you can access. They even went as far as to put it a create-a-car mode which is really cool. The FMV sequences are really good especially Rob Zombie's.

The sound is one of the features in the game and the realistic sounds of cars exploding when missiles hit them to the sounds of bullets hits the car to Sweet Tooth's laugh. Also the best thing for sound is the music playing in the background which usually is Rob Zombie. It was smart for 989 Studios to put Rob Zombie's music on their game and even smarter to put Rob Zombie in the game!

The only complaint I have about this game is the fact that they got rid of some classic characters from the Twisted Metal series. They got rid of everyone (which includes Spectre, Mr. Grimm, Hammerhead, & Roadkill)except Minion and Sweet Tooth.

Other than a few missed characters TM4 is the best TM game and is well worth your money.
