Seeds of Kicking Butt

A serious upgrade on Turok Dinosaur Hunter, Turok 2 Seeds of Evil is one great game. The graphics are amazing even without the expansion pak, the control is tight and the Artificial Intelligence is good. The levels are much bigger and better looking. Waterfalls are absolutely stunning. The levels are no longer static, stuff blows up as you walk by, waterfalls well... fall and more.

All the best of the weapons from the first Turok are back including the tek bow, pistol, shotgun, plasma gun, grenade launcher and missile launcher. The new weapons are what really take the cake. The flame thrower is amazing, setting the creatures and surroundings on fire. The fire storm cannon is a chain gun that fires a tracer round every couple of shots to see where your shooting and light up the darkness. The nuke gun, well you can imagine, mass destruction. The razor wind is a little flying blade that Turok can throw from his hand. This little beast, while hard to aim, does an amazing amount of damage, usually leaving a large hole through the chest of the creature. The sunfire pods are just flash grenades to blind the creatures. There is a mine gun that shoots mines out on the floor. Any creature that set off the proximity sensor on the mine, triggers a large explosion that flares out close to the ground blowing there legs off. Yes its a big violent but it really does blow their legs off. The greatest, coolest weapon of all is the cerebral bore. This gun shoots a intelligence seeking high speed drill that will bore into the brain of the creature you locked it on too. Very bloody, very violent and very, very cool. As you can see you can blow the arms and legs off a creature. You an make gaping holes thru their chests and take off their heads. Graphic, yes, but great fun.

Turok 2 also adds a four-player mode letting you pick your character from many of the creatures that show up in Turok 2 single player levels. It has most of the weapons of the single player levels as well. There aren't plenty of multi-player levels and you can select both the level and the wall coloring scheme, making these levels much more interesting. This is a great four-player fighter, bloody and fun. You can also play against computer controlled bots if you are lacking all four players.

Turok 2 is an awesome game. Challenging with amazing graphics for one player, and plenty of blood gushing fun for one to four player. You'll love this game.
