A definite storm....

In the "Night Trilogy" we began with "Night Fire." We met Alec Carrick in this book as the husband of Arielle's half sister Nesta. In Night Storm the story opens with Nesta birthing a daughter for Alec, in which the long labor results in Nesta's death.

The story then resumes almost Five years later. Alec and his daughter Hallie are basically living on a ship traveling all around the world. They sail to Baltimore to investigate a business venture with the "Paxton Shipyards," assumed to be owned and operated by James Paxton and his son Eugene Paxton. It turns out however that Eugene is actually Eugenia, which leads into many exciting and very humorous adventures.

Little Hallie is an exceptionally bright and well spoken young lady that will steal your heart with endless delights. The relationship between Hallie and her Father will amaze you with the honest approach Alec uses to raise her.

Alec and Eugenia aspire to the most extremely sensual and sexual relationship I have read by Catherine Coulter. I truly enjoyed this book and look forward to the final saga of the "Night Trilogy." A must read for all her fans.
