Cons:
Does not play recorded DVD's well. Not many features.
The Bottom Line:
I've had better players in this price range

I bought this at Target for about $90. The reason is that I was going to China and was looking for a player with a region hack available. Unfortunately, the region hack no longer works, but Target charges a 15% restocking fee so I kept it.
What I like:
I love that when I turn it off in the middle of a movie, it remembers where it was and starts playing where I left off.
The sound through the headphones is decent - no humming noise like I've heard on other portable DVD players.
The price is OK.
It has RCA jacks for a/v instead of mini-jacks.
It basically works OK.
What I don't like:
On recorded disks, every so often it drops bits, scrambles the picture and then goes to the next chapter. That's really a bummer to me.
It's kind of large and clunky compared to the competition.
It only has 1 speaker, so no stereo sound when you don't use outputs or headphones.
There is only 1 headphone jack.
The picture is OK, but it is noticeably brighter on the bottom 1/8 inch of the screen. I think that it must be the light bulb showing through.
There are few things you can do without the remote. For example, you need the remote to push the menu button and navigate through the DVD. You need the remote to adjust the brightness and stuff.
