The price says it all

I was looking for a very basic model of a radio to listen to music at work. My main concern was the price. Because it was for work, I wanted it to: 1- work and 2- be cheap. Well, this clock radio meets both criteria. I have to say though that you really get what you pay for. This is a bare bones model that can only do two things: wake you up if need be and play radio stations that are easily picked up in your area. The tuning is done manually. I always listen to the same station every day and 1 out of 3 days I have to try and find my station again, which can be tricky. It picks up AM and FM stations, as long as the reception for those is generally prominent where you use it. Other than that, it is cheap and looks cheap, but that's to be expected for an alarm clock that costs less than $5. If I had to do it all over, I think I would spend a little more and buy something more user-friendly (no more manual tuning, please!) The bottom line is: I went too cheap on that one.
