Great car, good mileage, and makes you feel *so* good

The Bottom Line: Buy it. Ride it. Live it.
his really is a great car. You get amazing mileage, it's comfortable and surprisingly roomy for such a small vehicle -- believe me, when you fold down the back seats, you can fit a LOT in the back. I've put my two 100-pound dogs and some luggage in the back and driven 400 miles.
The mileage isn't as good as advertised -- it's an EPA formula that normal driving just doesn't match -- but it's still much better than you'll get with anything else. The nice thing is that the dashboard display gives you the information to help you drive more efficiently. Use the "pulse and glide" method and you easily pick up mpg's.
On cruise control you can get 45 miles-plus for long stretches. Drive in the city in flat areas and you get great mileage. If you live in a hilly area or use the car to drive just one mile here and there you get basic compact-car mileage in the mid-30s. Overall, I've averaged at least 40 mpg.
The sightlines take getting used to but are OK. The backup camera is wonderful.
Given the option, get the GPS navigation. Wonderful if you're the type of person who ever gets lost (and who hasn't now and then?!)
