Very Impressed

I bought a 2005 4-door Tacoma about 2 weeks ago and have been really impressed with this vehicle. I've driven it mainly in the city and it handles quite well for a larger sized truck, but also took it on a weekend road trip and it was magic on the highway.

My purchase was the 6-speed manual, and my one complaint with this is that I wanted the 6-foot box, but the manual is only sold with the 5-foot box for some reason. I am getting some after-market racks to put on though which should negate my cargo issues.

So far gas mileage is adequate. I'm getting about 500km per 70L. Not great, but not bad either. The manual transmission is tons of fun to go through as well. 6th gear at 70km/h (40mph) is no problem.

My one issue is that I got the SR5 Power package (middle package offered) and am pretty unimpressed with the cloth seats. The ones offered on the TRD package are way nicer and I think for the money you pay for a Tacoma, these upgraded seats should be standard on all models.
