2005 Toyota Corolla S

I absolutely LOVE this car!!! It was my first new car and I'm so glad my husband talked me into it. We needed a car that would accomodate both of our sizes. He is 6'4 and I am just under 5'2. This one fits us both like a glove and is quite comfortable. Its a nice quiet ride and I have always loved the fact that you get in and shut the door and you hear a nice "thud" indicating that you are sealed in and ready to drive without hearing the road noise. My husband claims this car is a little sluggish, but I think it has enough get up and go...especially if there is just one person in it. It has an amazing air conditioner and heater that seems to work quite quickly. Other than routine maintenance (ie, oil changes) I haven't had to do any repair work on it since I bought it in 2004. It is a very low maintenance vehicle. We also chose this car because it got good reviews for reliability in its class as well as good crash ratings. I should also point out that it is a pretty roomy car for all the bigger it looks on the outside. We have never had any difficulty fitting a car seat in for our baby. I also don't see a problem when we add the second car seat in a few months when our new baby arrives. The trunk also has tons of room. I permanently store my stroller in the trunk (not an umbrella stroller, a bulky one that is meant to attatch to a car seat). Even with the stroller, I still have room to buy groceries...usually a few hundred dollars worth. Sometimes, I'm really amazed at the capacity of this little car. The back seat also folds for added room, but I've really never needed to use this feature as it is roomy enough without it.
