273.6 Volts under the hood!, plus 1.5 liters

I am thoroughly pleased with my Super-White 2002 Toyota Prius. Although I am a tall man, I find the car fits me fine and is very comfortable. The Prius design philosophy is consistently applied throughout the car. Weight is kept down to help fuel economy, but strength and safety of the car seem far above average. Here is a car that has all the power I need, with fuel economy and cleanliness very far above average. Raw and stupid "horsepower" goes only SO FAR!: this car goes 52 miles on a gallon on Regular. I hear that the 2004 model line will be larger in size and will include a hatch-back. I'm thinking of trading-in! The '02 and 03 (and '01, etc.) has 5 seat-places: I need only one or two, but I'd love to have cargo space (or open space, too). We'll see. What a car. You will become a better and more aware driver: the car is so quiet and smooth: enjoy the road and the views! And it came equipped with cruise-control and continuously-variable tranny. You'll love the regenerative braking (stepping on the brakes, or coasting, drives a dynamo to charge the 110-pound battery, so your forward momentum is never wasted: the brake shoes and disks will last a long time, too!), and you'll love it when the piston engine goes off while you're waiting for a light. You'll never have to have this car emissions-tested, I don't think, because it does not "idle!" The future is here, none too soon. A breath of fresh air. Kudos, Toyota!
