Drives Like a Camry, Priced Like a Mercedes...

Date of Review:  Dec 28, 2000
The Bottom Line: A good minivan that rides mostly on the Toyota reputation.
Review: Yes. The title of this review is a slight exaggeration, but my point is this: The Toyota Sienna seems to cost more than its competitors such as Honda's Odyssey which offers more room, more features and added benefits. But then again, if the Toyota...

The Bottom Line: Any family who is concerned about its long-term investments should think about this van. Be at peace with your purchase!

Should have been better...

Date of Review:  Jul 25, 2001
The Bottom Line: Well designed van with lots of features, roomy interior, good materials used, great powertrain, etc. Beware of potential quality issues. Even new Toyota vehicles can be plagued with problems.
Review: I'll be the first to defect from the long list of Sienna lovers... But first some background. I've been a loyal Toyota owner since 1989. I've owned numerous Toyota vehicles including 2WD Truck, 4WD X-Cab Truck, 4WD 4runner, Celica GTS, Avalon. Two...

Can you give a car less than 1 star? The Horror Continues

Date of Review:  Mar 30, 2001
The Bottom Line: Multiple problems with car. Electrical, computer, and valve problems.
Review: Update on the Update

Still more problems with the car. Car is still about 3 years old, Engine checklight comes on. Take to dealer and they fix the problem by fixing a Vacuum switch. Costs me $256 since they won't warranty it.

Sienna. . . Tow Vehicle? . . . Absolutly.

Date of Review:  Mar 24, 2005
The Bottom Line: I am 6'4" tall and this car in comfy for me and my mom drives it so it fits short people too.
Review: My family bought the Sienna LE in 2001 as a tow vehicle that would still serve as a good daily driver for my mother. A one-ton popup camper is the intended tow, the Sienna has a tow rating of 3500lbs. This Minivan can haul.
This van has towed 3...

Great Van

Date of Review:  Jan 21, 2008
The Bottom Line: Would recommend especially if you have kids, sedans are way too small
Review: I bought this van used in 2006 and have had a pretty good experience with it. I have the XLE version and I love the interior set up of the car. Everything is easy to use/find on the dash and the radio console area. I do wish that the rear windows...

Thrilled That I Didn't Buy That Chrysler

Date of Review:  Feb 1, 2003
The Bottom Line: I would buy it again because of its reliability, quality all around and comfort.
Review: We needed the space of a minivan and I reluctantly agreed. We looked at several makes and narrowed it down to the Chrysler Town & Country and the Sienna. I really liked the amenities and room of the Chrysler and my wife really liked the Sienna. On...

Never thought driving a minivan could be so good

Date of Review:  Jan 7, 2001
Review: One and a half months ago, I leased a 2001 Toyota Sienna, after returning my 1998 leased Ford Windstar, and I am thrilled with my choice. Here are some of the reasons why I LOVE my Toyota Sienna:

Fantastic van!

Date of Review:  Feb 16, 2008
Review: I bought my Sienna XLE new in 2001 and paid over $30,000 for it. This is my 4th mini van but my first Toyota; all the others were made by Chrysler. All my other vans had transmission problems early on so I never kept them very long. This van now...

Lots of repairs!

Date of Review:  Jun 23, 2008
Review: This year we have lots of repair. We always use the recommended service from the authorized Toyota dealer. We had the 45,000 service in early March 2008, then one day after that we noticed that the handle on the back door was broken. The dealer said...
