Thrilled That I Didn't Buy That Chrysler

by   nyesq ,  Feb 1, 2003
Pros: Reliable, comfortable, quiet, convenient, practical, good engine, good transmission, good stereo, great handling, great value
Cons: Needs to be a bit longer and wider for a bigger interior
The Bottom Line: I would buy it again because of its reliability, quality all around and comfort.
Review: We needed the space of a minivan and I reluctantly agreed. We looked at several makes and narrowed it down to the Chrysler Town & Country and the Sienna. I really liked the amenities and room of the Chrysler and my wife really liked the Sienna....

Sienna. . . Tow Vehicle? . . . Absolutly.

by   barskittle ,  Mar 24, 2005
Pros: Powerful, Good Towing, Reliable, Comfy, Tough, Holds Value
Cons: Price
The Bottom Line: I am 6'4" tall and this car in comfy for me and my mom drives it so it fits short people too.
Review: My family bought the Sienna LE in 2001 as a tow vehicle that would still serve as a good daily driver for my mother. A one-ton popup camper is the intended tow, the Sienna has a tow rating of 3500lbs. This Minivan can haul. This van has towed ...

Love it, would only fix a few things

by   harrydaddy ,  Sep 3, 2002
Pros: Smooth engine, power sliding doors, 6-CD changer, reliability and quality
Cons: Ride and handling "floats," no flip-down third row, children can be hurt by sliding doors
The Bottom Line: Solid minivan, I would strongly recommend. They are upgrading the Sienna in 2004. The only other one I would check out would be the Honda Odyssey.
Review: After we had our first kid, we started looking for minivans. My co-workers gave me hell for even considering one. Reason why I never even thought of an SUV: I don't want to drive a truck, my wife is short and would have a tough time climbing into an SUV,...

A Car Disguised as a VAN!

by   rustyrod ,  Feb 2, 2003
Pros: Toyota Quality, Reliability and resale value.
Cons: Poor Turning radius. Too many cup holders.
The Bottom Line: If you are looking for a van that drives and rides like a luxury car, you can't beat the Toyota Sienna.
Review: When we were looking for our van, we test drove all the other brands, American and Foreign over a period of 18 months. We decided on the 2001 Toyota Sienna because of it's car like ride and handling and stability on country roads. (The Honda Odyssey, our...

A True Family's Van

by   charles ,  Jan 20, 2001
Pros: Reliability is synonymous with Toyota Sienna; Convenience and comfort
Cons: Apprehensive about passenger sliding door
The Bottom Line: Any family who is concerned about its long-term investments should think about this van. Be at peace with your purchase!
Review: Safety Counts For MeThe 2001 Toyota Sienna is equpped with all the standard features including driver and passenger airbags and front seat side impact airbags. If yours does not have, you can pick this option

When our 1999...

Still happy with my Sienna

by   poohmom ,  Jan 22, 2002
Pros: Toyota quality and reputation, standard equipment, safety standards and test results.
Cons: Some "American Made" qualities
The Bottom Line: Toyota's reputation speaks for itself. After reading Consumer Reports, talking to other Sienna owners, and test driving, I was sold. I highly recommend!
Review: I have owned my 2001 Toyota Sienna LE for just over a year now and still love it. I've had no mechanical problems whatsoever, but It has developed some, what I call "American made qualities", which are small annoyances that I hope to get fixed soon....

Performed well in accident

by   nasimaali ,  Nov 29, 2001
Pros: Safety, reliability, style, comfort
Cons: Price
The Bottom Line: If you are a mom, this car's for you. And your kids.
Review: We bought our new 2001 Sienna in December 2000. It was our first minivan. Not being an expert on minivans, I can't say how it compared to others. We had a rattling sound in the back door that went away. The front driver's door seemed to be slightly off...

Do you think you want one?

by   villafish ,  Sep 17, 2002
Pros: Smooth, Quad seating, good ride quality, reliability
Cons: Tight 3rd row, small cargo bay
The Bottom Line: If looking to buy now: look at the Honda Odyssey Later: wait till 2004 Redesign
Review: Our family purchased a Sienna last year as our new primary vehicle. We were looking for a van to replace our full-sized Ford conversion. After looking around we decided that the best van in our price range would be a 2001 Sienna LE.
The Engine:...

2001 Sienna

by   albertalaw ,  May 21, 2002
Pros: Excellent vehicle
Cons: back seats heavy, expensive
The Bottom Line: The smoothest engine I have ever driven, next to a Cadillac. This mini-van is a joy to drive.
Review: Excellent body style (though a copy of the Winstar). Toyota is a good company. I was born an American car lover, but after driving this van and comparing it to its North American counterparts - please ..... GM, Chrysler HANG YOUR HEADS IN SHAME. This...

The Best Minivan

by   xiea ,  May 17, 2001
Pros: This minivan is well equipped. Safest Minivan on the market.
Cons: Poor dash ergonomics and storage spaces
The Bottom Line: It is simply the Best
Review: In year 2000, Consumer Reports gave Sienna's long standing as the #1 minivan to a new comer Honda Odyssey. However, I feel Sienna is still the best minivan.

WHY SIENNA IS THE BEST
This minivan shares the Camry's platform and...
