I Love my MR2

Pros: Porsche-like styling, Excellent Handling, Inexpensive

Cons: Limited Storage

The Bottom Line: Buy it, lease it, rent it. Just get back to having fun behind the wheel.

This car is a paradox looking for a place to happen. The moment the weather is warm, you will want to take the top down and drive your significant other to the nearest beach destination...barely being able to fit a small gym bag in the tiny storage compartment behind the seats with your weekend clothes.

All that I can say to that is - SO WHAT. You will still have the time of your life.

After test driving the Miata and Honda S2000 - the MR2 was a no-brainer (understatement). It handles GREAT, is so much fun to drive, and is fairly roomy (I am 6'3) with spacious headroom. I did check out the low-end Boxter - and tell you that I would much rather have 2 MR2s than the Porsche...any day of the week.

Make sure you have a back-up car for carting children or friends around - but if you are buying a car for YOU and YOU ALONE - the car will turn heads as you drive by.
