Great Transportation, Terrible Recreation.

Date of Review:  Aug 11, 2001
The Bottom Line: If Toyota ever makes washing machines, we should all buy them. Skip the Camry for something more dynamic on the road.
Review: I recently drove a 2001 V6-equipped Camry for a week on business. Let me say right at the start that the car was excellent through and through. I wouldn't buy one, though, and would not recommend it to friends. Let me admit that my lack of...

This IS the best car I have ever owned!

Date of Review:  Jan 19, 2003
The Bottom Line: This car is everything and more. Not to mention the stylish body and responsive engine, the confidence in this car is outstanding.
Review: Sleek! Compares to a higher priced luxury sedan in the Toyota family. I prefer it's body even more than the new 2003 model! It is well designed and stylish. When I first checked this model out it seemed slightly smaller than the its predecessor but...

Best all-around, benchmark family sedan

Date of Review:  Dec 5, 2000
Review: I work for a major car rental firm and have an opinion on just about every car out there.

First of all, there is no practical reason to spend more than $25,000 on a new car. Except for ego and extremely high performance, you can be sated...

What a car!

Date of Review:  Oct 15, 2006
The Bottom Line: This seems to be a great car. After 22,000 miles I have no regrets at all.
Review: After reaching over 133,000 miles on my 1998 Ford Escort, I started to look around for something newer and with fewer miles. I had ruled out pretty much all the domestic cars in my price range, and had essentially narrowed my search to either a...

Why I finally got a Camry

Date of Review:  Dec 1, 2001
The Bottom Line: Get this car for all of the right reasons(Reliability, Safety, Comfort, Resale)
Review: No other car gave me a sense of a good purchase decision. We all know cars depreciate, with the exception of the new VW Beetle one year after it hit pavement in America and a few other classic cars. The case with today's auto purchase is the product...

Not the best,by a long shot

Date of Review:  Jun 9, 2001
The Bottom Line: Buy an Accord,or better yet,an Impalla.
Review: The Toyota Camry has been the best selling sedan, but it's not the best.On the plus side, you have nice fittings on the interior, nice sounds, and medium handling. On the negative side(This is going to be long),the price is sky high. For example, for the...

This is no Toy.

Date of Review:  Sep 1, 2001
The Bottom Line: When you buy a Toyota, you know you are getting a good car. I expect this Camry to go over 200,000 miles with no problem.
Review: I recently purchased a 2001 Toyota Camry. I had heard a lot of good things about Toyota and the Camry and thought I would give one a test drive. The ride was awesome, very quiet. I went over a railroad track and could not even tell. I also love the...

GREAT

Date of Review:  Dec 30, 2000

2001 Toyota Camry: A Very Capable Sedan.

Date of Review:  Apr 17, 2001
The Bottom Line: Great car. A little bland. DO NOT BUY A BEIGE CAMRY!
Review: Recently shopping for a family-size sedan, the 2001 Toyota Camry was near the top of the list. We also took a look at the Honda Accord, VW Passat, and Mazda 626.

This car is a fine choice, with all the comfort, reliability and performance...

Why buy a Lexus ES300? Gallery Edition Camry is the same darned thing!

Date of Review:  Mar 14, 2001
The Bottom Line: This car has something for everyone, be it performance, aftermarket support, comfort, luxury. Just don't expect 1.9% financing. Toyota is an arrogant company, since they know they sell well.
Review: Ok, I decided to get out of the SUV thing. The gas mileage was oppressive, and I really had no need for that kind of space. Besides, I was getting sick of having all my friends asking me to help them move.

I'm an early 30's guy. I'm...
