It just won't quit!

About 4 years ago I bought a 93 previa 4wd with 225000 km on it for $2500 canadian. It now (09) has over 400 000 km(~250 k miles) and it still doesn't burn oil.  When this van came out it's major fault was a very high price, but as a used van they're a great deal. I love it! and the 4wd has saved my butt in many a snow storm. People claim the power is lacking, but really it does everything I need it to do and it cruises very nicely at 130 km/h. Because the motor is under the floor the center of gravity is lower than regular vans and it handels pretty well. Really it's not a sports car, but if that's what you want why buy a van?  I've had to do normal maintenance like brakes, exhaust but the only larger mechanical trouble I ever had was the SAD shaft and I was able to have that rebuilt  for about $400 and have never thought of it since. If Toyota did the same work they might ask you over $2500 but really it's simple to rebuild and the install isn't that bad. see "previa parts online" in florida, they were very helpfull. Other than that I've done some body work, but what would you expect for a 16 year old van in Canada? Very practical and reliable and a pleasure to drive.
