Author's Review

I got my 87 Camry from my parents, although I had to buy my own one-way ticket to California to pick up the car and drive it back to my home in Portland. It was well worth it!

First, on the very long drive home, the car was comfortable, drove smoothly, and got fantastic gas mileage.

During the time I owned my Camry, the only "major" service I had to do was replace the speedometer cable and get new brake pads. Not bad considering I owned it for 4 years and took it from 160,000 miles to 235,000 miles. Of course, I got regular oil changes and tune-ups, too!

The car was fun to drive, got great mileage, was solidly built (no road noise to speak of), and never failed to get me where I needed to go. Highly recommended!
