In the market for a minivan? Consider a 2008 Toyota Sienna

by  jurgrace ,  Mar 21, 2009
34 out of 34 people found this review helpful.
Pros: Seats seven, Rides well, Automatic doors, Deeper trunk than most minivans or SUVs
Cons: A minivan is a minivan: there's no way to reduce the stigma
The Bottom Line: If you are looking for a minivan, the 2008 Toyota Sienna is a very good option. Aside from a couple of minor nuisances this is a comfortable vehicle.
This reviewer recommends this product.
Review: I recently had to take my Toyota Sequoia to the dealer for some kind of joint bearing replacement and got the pleasure of driving a 2008 Toyota Sienna for a day as a loaner. While I was initially unhappy with the idea of breaking one of my...

Pros: A great family vehicle, seats 7 and loaded with safety features
Cons: None Yet
The Bottom Line: The best for Families The smoothiest vehicle that I have ever driven
This reviewer recommends this product.
Review: I now have owned this vehicle for six months and I have to tell you that the ride is smoother than any I have ever driven. The engine is quiet and the ride is super smooth. Everyone who has been in my van says the same thing. It ys so easy to dive...

2008 Toyota Sienna: how does it compare to the new Chrysler minivans?

by  mkaresh ,  Oct 8, 2007
21 out of 21 people found this review helpful.
Pros: Luxurious interior, quietness, acceleration, room, totally unobstructed view forward
Cons: Squishy handling, very light steering, totally unobstructed view forward
The Bottom Line: Trails the new Chrysler minivans in features, but the Sienna remains the quickest, quietest, and most luxurious.
This reviewer recommends this product.
Review: For 15 years Chrysler dominated the minivan market. This began to change and fast once Honda and Toyota introduced equally large front-wheel-drive minivans. Honda was first, in the 1999 model year. For five years the much larger second generation...

No Spare Tire

by  infoispower69 ,  Apr 4, 2008
13 out of 13 people found this review helpful.
Pros: Kids love it.
Cons: No spare tire.
This reviewer does not recommend this product.
Review: We purchased a 2008 Toyota Sienna AWD van. This van has NO SPARE TIRE. They won't tell you that when looking at it, but the van has no space for it either.

To get around that, they put these "run flat tires" on it. They say the tires can...

A Man's Mini Van

by  jdmalibu ,  Aug 6, 2008
9 out of 9 people found this review helpful.
Pros: Great family car, excellent resale, nice touring ride, love the Dynamic Laser Cruise.
Cons: Navigation is poor, as well as the voice navigation feature.
The Bottom Line: Best built van out there. Excellent Resale. Ton's of gadgets. A Man's Van.
This reviewer recommends this product.
Review: We just bought the Toyota Sienna Limited Front Wheel drive model. We have put on 4000 miles in about three months. This is the best mini van out there. Some of the features that sold me are just too good to be true.
I ended up getting the High...

Excellent family vehicle

by  geminta2 ,  Oct 23, 2008
7 out of 7 people found this review helpful.
Pros:

Smooth ride, feels like I'm driving a sedan.
Roomy, comfortable and safe.

Cons: Expensive options
Expensive to replace Run-on-flat
Wish for more leg room in back seat.
This reviewer recommends this product.
Review: We needed more room and we got it. The back row seat has options of full, 3/4, and 1/4 up or down and the back can be reclined to any angle.
With AWD you feel safe driving in the snow.
The back windows open a little more than half way (nice to...

Toyota Sienna drives like a CAR

by  gilen ,  May 21, 2008
5 out of 10 people found this review helpful.
Pros: roomy, comfortable, car chasey, captain chairs, easy handling
Cons: no hide-a-way seats, they must be manually removed
The Bottom Line: If given the opportunity to purchase another minivan, I would purchase a Toyota Sienna again.
This reviewer recommends this product.
Review: The Toyota Sienna is roomy and comfortable. The best feature about the Sienna is that it is built on a regular car chassey not a truck chassey (as most other vans are). This means that you don't feel like you are "riding high" with a car that is...

Beats the 2010 Town and Country hands down

by  logentry ,  Sep 4, 2009
1 out of 1 people found this review helpful.
Pros: Get up and go!
Quiet ride.
Comfy seats.
auxiliary mp3 jack
Toyota's reputation for reliability and company stability
Cons: Seat cloth could be nicer (try the LE).
Rear view somewhat diminished.
This reviewer recommends this product.
Review: My beloved 2000 Town and Country was still chugging at 170k, but it was time. We drove the 2010 T&C and found it underpowered and clad with an interior plastic that resembled the thin stuff used in Porta-Potties. The much-heralded 2nd row Stow & Go...

Toys for the boys....

by  amyandtherain ,  Sep 12, 2008
Be the first one to rate this review
Pros: It's a minivan, toys (gadgets), great handling.
Cons: Price, mpg, dvd (only) placement & controls, lacking some safety features in lower end models.
The Bottom Line: Something fun for everyone. Toys for the kids and man, room and features to make life easier.
This reviewer recommends this product.
Review: With 2 kids we quickly out grew our '01 4-door Golf and we needed a minivan badly. My husband kept putting it off, but finally the hunt began.

What I wanted: good handling, power sliding doors, power lift gate, something safe.
What the man...
