2008 Camry Hybrid
Pros:
Gas milage, stereo, security features such as with the trunk, numerous airbags
Cons:
bluetooth connection, small trunk
The Bottom Line:
I definitely recommend the Camry Hybrid to anyone. It's a great ride and even better gas milage.

Not only am I new Hybrid owner, this is also my first Toyota and I am very impressed so far.
I've had the Camry Hybrid for a month now and it's been wonderful. Where I used to have to get gas once a week I'm not down to once every two weeks or even a bit longer - and I haven't changed my driving habits at all.
As someone who does many long drives, I can say the best feature are the seats. They adjust easily and even have a lumbar support in the basic models. For a bit more, there is the option for heated seats.
The sound system in the car is great and it also includes a jack to plug an ipod or other mp3 player into with ease and everything can be stashed in the 'hidden' compartment with some ease. The only complaint I have about that one is their is a hole to slide the wires through on the passenger side but not on the drivers side - which is where it would be a bit more convenient as the ipod tends to be operated by the driver more. It also includes a 6-disc dash changer and programming the clock and radio stations if very easy.
The built-in bluetooth system does leave a bit to be desired. I don't use my phone often while driving but when I do, I don't have an option but to talk through the car system now. I'm sure there's a way to turn it off but I haven't figured it out yet. There does seem to be a delay and it does cut out quite a bit.
As stated in other reviews, the trunk is a bit small but the back seat that is not in front of the extra battery does come down to give a bit more room.
From a security standpoint - it has some great features. The Camry, like most cars today, has the emergency release latch in the trunk. The other thing that is great is that the back seats can only be put down by releasing them through the trunk - which means if you stash stuff in the trunk no one can get to it unless they have access to the trunk from the outside. The wireless remote also includes a little key that pops out that you can lock the trunk with so that even the remote won't be able to open it. The other thing is the airbag placement. They are not only in the dashboard, but also on the sides and underneath the panel where the knees would hit.
There could be more cupholders, but I'm a coffee addict so that might be more me than anything.
From a more technical aspect it is a quiet ride and has no problems getting up hills despite it being a 4-cylinder engine. We have lots of potholes around here and if/when you hit them, you don't feel it as harshly. Honestly, if the car works, I'm happy so aside from those, this isn't really going to be a helpful review for the in's and out's of the engine, struts, shocks, etc :D.
I traded in a 2004 Sebring so it took a bit of time getting used to the push-button start and many of the controls (especially the radio) being on the steering wheel but those are minor.
Overall, a great car and wonderful gas-milage.
