I love this backpack!

I'm not a backpacker or a heavy-duty hiker, so I was a little hesitant to buy such an expensive backpack. After wearing my 10 month old daughter in the backpack at our local Farmer's Market I knew I made the correct decision. It's so easy to zoom in and out of foot traffic with the baby on your back. Other parents with strollers got caught in the crowds. I also like that the baby is head level with people and not lower (if you know what I mean :)). I attached a small mirror to the pack that I can hold it up and see her reflection.
The pack is comfortable for all three of us: me, the baby and her dad. My daughter has fallen asleep in the pack more than once. For us, the pack is easily adjustable and padded. My husband is 50 pounds heavier than I am, but the pack adjusts readily. The pack is also free-standing which makes loading the baby easier. A center handle helps with putting the loaded pack on your back.
We're hoping to take the backpack "off-road" this summer in a trip to Colorado. I'm sure it will be great.
