Toshiba Satellite™ (A215-S4757) (PSAEGU-01100U) PC Notebook

I bought one of these in August. within 2 weeks, the screen had started going dark while I was working on it; nothing could get it to work again short of shutting it down manually and rebooting it. I took it back to the store and they exchanged it for a new one; they said that the problem had to be hardware, not software. Well, the new one did the same thing, this time within 2 days of being taken out of the box. I took it back again and discovered that the model had been discontinued; given my experiences with them, I can't pretend to be surprised.

I now have an HP.
