Pros: Specs, features (fingerprint recognition port, Firewire [IEEE 1394] port, webcam, DVD burner), performance.

Cons: Battery life, keyboard frequently mistypes, runs hot.

I bought this Toshiba Satellite A215-S7472 from CompUSA as it was going out of business, so I got it for 30% off.

Overall I am pleased with its specs and its performance so far. It is loaded with features.

On the downside, the battery life leaves much to be desired. It lasts only about 1 1/2 to 2 hours, even with power saver features turned on (such as the screen brightness turned down. Also, the keyboard frequently mistypes. It does this for both my wife and for me, even though we do not have this problem on other keyboards. It seem that it just randomly misses keystrokes.
