Toshiba 42H83 - Great value for your TV buck

The Bottom Line: HIGHLY RECOMMENDED. This TV represents excellent value for your buck. Provides many of the features that future TVs will provide at a very reasonable price.

avoid Toshiba rear projection televisions at all cost

The Bottom Line: Steer clear from Toshiba sets if you're looking for a good quality rptv. Their customer service is also the worse. They also have trouble honoring the manufacturers warranty.

The Bottom Line: This is a great buy for first timers going for the bigger screen. It's not a plasma, but it's 3 to 8 times cheaper too. Highly recommend it!

42" toshiba hdtv 42h83

Review: The picture is crystal clear. Also the colors are as bright as I have ever seen on a TV. Sound quality is also high. Manual convergence was simple to use. Very good TV.

Toshiba 42H83 - poor quality causing high failure rate

Review: After less than three years, the horizontal video synchronization is gone, making the resulting picture indecipherable.
