Underrated Hitchcock spy flick

Pros: No distracting big-name stars. Un-Bond like tone. Cinematography.
Cons: Stafford is awful. Slow and a little TOO detached
The Bottom Line: Far better Hitchcock offering than most of his other later works, including Torn Curtain and the uneven Family Plot.

Hitchcock Does James Bond. Badly.

Pros: The Cuban Missile Crisis is an interesting context.
Cons: It could have benefited from some of the energy common in more typical spy movies.
The Bottom Line: Who would have thought the gap between suspense and thriller was this great?
