Many Features But Unreliable In Several Ways

The Bottom Line: Unfortunately I cannot recommend a product that has failed twice in six months time. The TeleAtlas mapping is only fair when compared to NavTeq which gives street names by voice.

tomtom 700 : great

Review: very good GPS, very easy to use, the remote control is useful and intuitive. Last but not least, the OS is open, So you can easily add your own (downloaded) POI (speed cameras,etc). The SIRF II chip is not a problem.

The Bottom Line: Until they fix their software issues and provide at least average customer service, avoid this unit. Even if they advertise on Bob & Tom.
