Tokina AF 193 for Minolta

I got this lens on a lark about a year ago from B+H Photo which is a great discount dealer by the way. I didn't use it much but did test it and it performed excellently. Very sharp and surprisingly modest distortion even at the widest setting. The supplied lens hood is a nice touch. I found it lost a bit of contrast when encountering against the lens, flare inducing lighting. I have begun using it more for tight quarters events, shots in crowds and it is a very handy range of focal lengths. It is also very compact and lightweight. It appears to be the physical twin of the Vivitar and Cosina lenses of the same specs.
