Toastess TSC-310 6.5-Quart Slow Cooker

I received this slow cooker for Christmas. I was so happy to have a programmable slow cooker, and I could not wait to try it out. Well here it is Jan. 11, 2007 and it stopped working. It did not slowly break down, it just stopped working!

I was cooking in it today, and set it on high for 8 hours. I thought everything was fine. I noticed it cooking for awhile, but later on I noticed that the timer was off, so I thought it was finished. Then later on that evening, I decided to cook something in it overnight since it had the timer option. Well, when I tried to turn it on, nothing happened. There was no lights, no timer that came on, nothing!

I am now very angry. I don't know what to do for I only have the instruction booklet, but nothing about a warranty, and I do not have the box it came in. My husband still has the receipt, and I will see if I can take it back to the store, but I doubt it.
