I purchased this book because the title intrigued me. I did not know the author and at that time the book had not been nominated for any literary awards.

In order to enjoy this story you must get through the first couple of chapters which will initially confuse you. Don't worry the story becomes clearer and more enjoyable with each additional chapter. I would classify this book about time travel in England as a science fiction comedy/adventure.

On a scale of one to ten I give it my highest rating of a ten. If you enjoyed other English fiction such as "Tik Tok" and "Through The Looking Glass" you will treasure "To Say Nothing About The Dog."
