Nice radio, but way overpriced

The Bottom Line: Unless you intend to use an external antenna save yourself $75 and buy the Curtis from Best Buy. If headphones are your hot button, look at portable units.
Review: I fear that the other reviewers of this item are trying to justify an expensive purchase. After all, $100 is a lot to pay for an AM/FM mono Radio.

Love this radio despite replacement under warranty

The Bottom Line: A simple product that oozes "quality". Easy to use, takes up very little space, very big sound. Buy it.

Tivoli says 60 cycle hum is normal (it can be eliminated)

Review: I bought one and partly use it with headphones at night. Did not like 60 cycle hum so I called Tivoli. They suggested I use a wall plug 12 volt supply.The radio has a 12 volt power input (female) jack. I measured the current it uses.

OK, but not quite up to the hype

The Bottom Line: Try it if reception conditions are good or stations you want are strong. Don't expect miracles on weak or borderline stations.
