Still The Gold Standard

Date of Review:  Sep 9, 2008
The Bottom Line: If you are a scratch player, and have the dough--give this ball a go. From here you can judge which multi-layer suits your game the best.
Review: I've been knocking a lot of Titleist's stuff lately. The new DT Roll and DT Carry as well as the NXT Extreme have all struck me as over-priced two piece hacker balls. The new Gran Z remains mis-marketed and misunderstood. The NXT Tour is just...

The world's best golf ball reigns on

Date of Review:  Jan 31, 2009
The Bottom Line:

Perfect for players who benefit from spin around the greens but don't want to give up hitting fairways and carrying the doglegs.

Review: I had never really found a ball that made me quit trying other balls, but then I tried the V1. There was a lot of fanfare - PGA Pros winning with this new ball, many pros switching before it was available to the public. Then the incredible demand...

Pro V1 Golf Ball

Date of Review:  Jun 4, 2009
The Bottom Line: I highly recommend Pro V1. In my experience it has the truest roll of any golf ball on the market.
Review: This is Titliest's most popular ball, and with good reason. I have used Pro V1 for years.  I have probably used about every kind of golf ball in my life at one point or another. In your hand, they don't feel like they would play soft, but I have...

Titleist Pro V1 and the best

Date of Review:  Jan 24, 2009
The Bottom Line: This golf ball is soft, long, and have lots of spin.  I love them.
Review: These golf balls are by far the nicest golf balls i've ever played with and won't use anything else even when they are a little spendy, and i'm only a poor college student so that's saying something! I've always had trouble putting spin on the...

Pro V-1 Review

Date of Review:  Feb 7, 2009
The Bottom Line: They are for regular playing golfers that are looking for a high performance golf ball that will allow them to work it in the air and on/around the green.
Review: The Titleist Pro V-1 ball has a great feel and it is really easy to control the ball around the greens.  You are able to workit well off the tee and they perform well in all weather.  It is one of my favourite balls to play with because I find it...

Titleist Pro V1

Date of Review:  Mar 6, 2008
The Bottom Line: This ball is recommended for the serious golfer who seeks to improve their game.
Review: The pro v1 has been around for many years but titleist just keeps on making it better. The new pro v1 is made for the serious golfer who wants to have control of where his or her ball goes. The new pro v1 consists of 392 dimples on the surface of...

Titleist Pro V1 - drop and stop

Date of Review:  Oct 13, 2006
Review: Feels harder than Nike's but softer than Callaway's. Ball stops really well on the greens. However, hard to spin control in gradual manner like Nike One.

Distance off the tee is better than average. Good distance control with irons.
