Pros: This movie arose many feelings in me. I loved the romance.
Cons: The fact that the bad parts are true.
Review: There have been two movies that I have seen in my life time that actually gave me a pain in the pit of my stomach. Of course Titanic was one and Saving Private Ryan was the other. The fact that they were true stories caused me great pain while watching...

Pros: Many scenes are based on actual events and actual historical passengers, is a love story of a lifetime.
Cons: Not all men may enjoy it.
Review: For some reason, I have always had a fascination with the entire story of the sinking of the Titanic. When I heard it was coming out in the movies, I couldn't wait. My husband finally took me and I was just totally amazed.

Pros: It's on DVD now, you can hit pause and not miss a thing.
Cons: There will never be a sequel.
The Bottom Line: I highly recommend this movie. If you allow yourself to, you just might discover a new love within yourself that ultimately you can offer to and share with others.
Review: James Cameron's portrayal of this historical event may have been a titanic attempt to earn some big bucks. With that being an obvious first impression, let's delve, not into Hollywood's desire to produce mega blockbusters, with glamor and over the ...

Pros: great story line,great acting
Cons: it is a real tragic event in our history
Review: When Titanic came out in theaters in December 1997 I didn't want to see it, but my husband did. Even though I am probably the biggest Leo fan why see a movie about a ship sinking. I didn't think it would be that good anyway. We went to see another movie...

Pros: incredible special effects, stays fairly true to historical data
Cons: schmaltzy love triangle plot
The Bottom Line: As long as you are prepared for an over-the-top beginning, this is a heart wrenching movie that I do recommend. (Bring Kleenex.)
Review: For those of you living on some other planet for the past few years, Titanic was a box office smash in late 1997/early 1998, compelling millions of people to see it (and thousand of teenage girls to see it numerous times). If you have been...

Pros: Intriguing
Cons: None
The Bottom Line: There is a reason that Titanic won so many awards.
Review: Titanic was written and directed by James Cameron. The working title that he used was The Ship of Dreams. I think it would have been nice if he would have continued to used this when the movie came out as well..Titanic:The Ship of Dreams. The...

Pros: Direction; a magnificent ending and a haunting musical score.
Cons: Nil.
The Bottom Line: Love does not die. It blows on like the wind; it flows on like the stream; it lives on forever.
Review: Human life is a conglomeration of opaline mirth and melancholy. Death and tragedies form those darker fields of life, where ones thoughts seldom tread. All of us accept lifes brighter aspects, but shiver to open up the locked rooms ...

Pros: great story, wonderful special effects
Cons: very sad ending
Review: I'm pretty sure that everyone has seen this movie by now. It has been, what, about two years since it hit movie theaters near us. And, yes, my husband and I were one of the crazy people that went out on Valentine's day to see it. Despite the theater...

Pros: Great screenplay; good performances; outstanding CGI & SFX; suspenseful ending.
Cons: It's a huge soap opera (let's face it); it's embarrassing to admit you like it.
The Bottom Line: Really, how else could they have made this movie? Yup, it's an epic all right. Let's just acknowledge it and move on.
Review: One thing all films considered to be "epics" and/or "classics" have in common is that they weren't made with the intention of being crowned as such. What's so remarkable about "Titanic" is that it seems as if it was made with such a goal in mind - a ...

Pros: Excellent visual effects. Moving love story. Brilliant score.
Cons: Poorly written dialogue.
The Bottom Line: "Titanic" is a superbly directed, acted, and crafted film. It has a brilliant, moving score and incredible visual effects. Historically accurate as well.
Review: As someone with a lifelong fascination with anything dealing with the Titanic tragedy, I was extremely anxious and impatient in waiting for the James Cameron film to finally be released. Including my initial viewing on the day it was released, Dec. 19,...
