The Bottom Line: Great shaver - compare to other Remington's and get the best price
My old Braun finally kicked the bucket, so time for a new rechargable shaver. After comparing various options at Wally-World, this looked the best for the price.
The MS2-370 "Titanium" MicroScreen shaver has two blades for regular shaving and a trimmer with two settings. It gave a smooth shave quickly - what more could you want? It got all those hard to reach spots such as the back corner of the jaw that were always hard to reach with the old Braun. The trimmer was useful getting my sideburns to line up. I also use it to go after those stray hairs on my neck - too bad I can't relocate them to the top of my head.
The shaver charges in only an hour, and is rated at 55 minutes of cutting time. In practice this means I charge once every week or other week. Better yet, I don't have to bring the cord on a business trip - it will outlast my longest trip.
The shaver is quiet - always important with an electric. It is lightweight for a quick spin around the face. It is longer and thinner than my old Braun and is easier to hold.
Negatives are few. At first I kept accidently turning on the trimmer, but now I hold it properly - no problem! The blades are not held in firmly, so I knocked them into the trash the first few times I cleaned the shaver. Also, replacement blades and screens are not cheap - but then this is usually the case. Shavers are like printers - the manufacturer makes money on the parts. The screen does not seem to last as long as the Braun, but it is hard to tell.
Lastly, I get a nick about once a week, but this is very minor.
