IRONMAN..made out of plastic?!?!?!

I have owned at least 4 Ironmans over the several decades, but I am reviewing the 2 most recent. My 6 year old son pulled on the watch and the pin holding the band on "dug a channel" on the body of the watch rendering the watch unwearable. Even if you put a new pin in it. It will no longer stay in place. I sent it in to Timex with a complaint letter, and they sent it back to me with a bill for $10.00. My letter was a complaint letter about the design of the watch, and they sent me a bill. I will no longer purchase Timex products!!! Very frustrating.
